Arnold Kvamme

Arnold (Arnie) Victor Kvamme was born on July 3, 1942, in Larimore, ND, to Nellie Sophie Dora (Rosenberg) and Severt Alfred Kvamme. He died in Grand Forks on April 5, 2016, at the age of 73, after a long illness. Arnie was confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Larimore and was a 1961 graduate of Larimore High School. He farmed in the Honeyford area until he retired and moved to Grand Forks in 2007. He enjoyed bowling as a young man and continued that activity as he became a golfer in his later years. He especially liked having morning coffee with his many friends.

Arnie is survived by his aunts, Delores (Herman) Lee and Elaine (Chester) Lee, of Sacramento, CA; brother, Severt (Mary); niece, Annette Kvamme; nephew, Eric Kvamme (Lauren); great nieces, Avery (4) and Emery (1), all of Arvada, CO; special friend, Diane Altendorf, of Grand Forks; and many cousins and dear friends.

A funeral service for Arnie will be held at 11 a.m., Sat., Apr. 23, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Honeyford. There will be a visitation at the church that day from 10-11 a.m., and burial and lunch will follow the service.
