Bernard "Barney" Jerry Wyant, Sr.

Bernard “Barney” Jerry Wyant, Sr., age 74, of Larimore, ND passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND from complications of COPD and emphysema.
Bernard was born October 24, 1940 at Hurricane, WV, the son of Bishop and Wilma (Toney) Wyant. On March 27, 1965 he married Linda Campbell. Barney retired as a SSGT in the United States Air Force; after 20 years of service. He worked for Mutch Oil of Larimore and drove cross country for Tri Campbell Farms out of Grafton, ND.
Barney is survived by his wife Linda Wyant, Larimore; children: Bernard Jerry Wyant, Jr. and Natalie of Hawley, MN; Jamie Wyant and Amy, Dickinson, ND; and Stacy Carpenter and Nathaniel, Waldorf, MD; grandchildren: McKayla, Mercedee, McKenzee, Cooper, Jason Wyant; and Cade and Carson Wyant; brothers and sisters: Loretta, Larry, Russel, Judy, Treasa and Pat.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Barney will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Bakke Funeral Chapel of Larimore, ND.

BURIAL: North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery, Mandan, ND, with Military Honors and Flag Presentation.
