BEVERLY BRORBY

Bev Jane (Drewlo) Brorby, age 83, of Arvilla, ND, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

She was born March 31, 1930 on a farm near Emerado, ND, the daughter of Julius and Barbara (Bauer) Drewlo. She grew up and attended grade school at Mekinock District #24 near Emerado, and went to High School in Larimore, where she graduated in 1948.

She worked for her parents until her marriage to Eldred E. Brorby on November 19, 1950. Bev worked at the French Fry Plant in Grand Forks until 1979. She then worked at Altru Hospital for 20+ years, retiring in 2003.

She is survived by her loving family: Husband of 62+ years: Eldred E. Brorby, Arvilla; Daughters: Melody (David) Davidson, Grand Forks; Michelle (Maynard) Overby, Mekinock; Grandchildren: Adam (Bobbi) Davidson, Eugene, OR; Ashley (Eric) Hessinger, Minneapolis, MN; Aaron (Casey) Davidson, Grand Forks; Great Grandson: Casen Davidson, Eugene, OR; Brother: Howard (Nola) Drewlo, Arvilla; Sister: Lotus Jensen, Grand Forks; Brother-in-law: Ernest Brorby, Northwood; Sister-in-law: Leona (Frank) Theis, Moorhead, MN; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.


MEMORIAL SERVICES: 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Larimore.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the service in the church on Monday.

INTERMENT : Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore, ND.
