Cathy Sue Holweger

Our Angel Unaware Cathy Sue Holweger, age 67, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.

Cathy was born March 27, 1954 at Deaconess Hospital in Grand Forks, the daughter of Harvey and Marilyn (Bradshaw) Holweger.  She received Holy Baptism at Faith Lutheran Church in Inkster, ND and confirmed her Christian faith at Grafton State School.  She later moved to Grand Forks and worked at Red Lobster.  Cathy loved to dance, bowl, swim, go to movies and to Perkins for her pancake and Diet Coke.

Cathy is survived by her mother Marilyn, Grand Forks; sisters Cindy Holweger, Grand Forks, Cheryl (Ron) Hoime, Arvilla; Colleen (Larry) Behm, Niagara, Cam (Chuck) Behm, Arvilla and brother Rick (Barb) Holweger, Crookston, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father Harvey.

A special thanks to Development Homes, Luther Memorial Home in Mayville and Valley Senior Living for their excellent care.  Also, special thanks to Carla Bakken for her love and kindness to Cathy Sue.

FUNERAL SERVICES:  10:30 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 in the Bakke Funeral Chapel, Larimore, ND.

VISITATION:  One hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT:  Memorial Park South, Grand Forks.
