Clark Cronquist, Jr.

Clark Floyd Cronquist Jr born August 3rd 1932 died August 6 ^th 2021 at home.

Clark was born in Erskine MN to Clark and Hannah Scott Cronquist.

Clark graduated from Gilby school in 1950 and went on to UND receiving a BA.

Clark married Harriet Simmet February 23 ^rd 1953.

They moved to Billings Montana where Clark worked for Shell Oil Co.

They moved back to Gilby ND and began their farming career.

Clark served as President on many Local, State, and National boards Including Grand Forks County Fair, Agassiz Water Users, North Dakota Stockman’s Association, North Dakota Rural Water Association, National Rural Water Association.

Clark is survived by his wife of 68 years 5 children Clark "Gus" Cronquist, Mary (Peter) Griffin, Peter (Elaine) Cronquist, Holly (Bob Hobbs) Cronquist, Andrew (Judy) Cronquist all of Gilby,ND  And grandchildren Laura, Tyler, and Mandy, and sister Frances MacDonald.

Clark was proceeded in death by his daughter Sigrid Stokke and grandson David Cronquist.

A visitation will be held at Bakke Funeral Home Larimore, ND Tuesday August 10 ^th 5pm-7pm
