Clyde Stratton Cooper Jr.
We are saddened to announce the death of Clyde S. Cooper Jr. age 71, of Larimore. He passed away comfortably, holding his rosery close to his heart on Monday March 3rd at 5am in the morning in the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND.
Clyde was born May 11, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Clyde and Mary (Myers) Cooper. In 1973, Clyde joined the United States Air Force and served his country for 20 years! He retired at the Grand Forks Air Force Base in 1993.
Clyde was a very loving father and devoted his life to his son and 3 grandchildren. He loved traveling the country sightseeing, especially to visit civil war battle grounds all over the east coast! His love for his grandchildren was immense, and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do to see them happy!
Clyde is preceded in death by his nephew Shawn Roberts and his daughter Tracy Cooper.
He is survived by his son Clyde S Cooper III. His wife Sara Cooper and 3 grandkids. Ethan. Kenleigh Jo and Carson. He will be missed tremendously! Fly high Clyde S Cooper Jr.

Services will be held at Bakke Funeral Home in Larimore, ND on Tuesday March 11 at 5 p.m. with visitation beginning after 4 p.m. Flag presentation will be by the U. S. Air Force Honor Team. Interment will be held in the New St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
