Curtis Benson

Curtis Benson, age 64 of Grand Forks, ND, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, July 1, 2013.
Curtis was born June 5, 1949 at Arvilla, ND, the son of Ralph and Mae (Hickman) Benson. He was raised and grew to manhood in the Arvilla area. He attended Arvilla Elementary School and graduated from Larimore High School. He then attended and graduated from UND.
Curtis worked on road construction and then worked for J. W. Perry Flower Wholesale for some time. Later he was employed by Tractor Supply in Grand Forks for several years until his retirement.
A single man, he is survived by his sister: Fern (Gerald) Smith, Waupaca, WI; his brother: Dudley Benson, Grand Forks and nieces and nephews: Brenda (Steve) Rolf; Brian (Michelle) Smith; Kristi (Jeremy) Schmidt; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Mandel and Dennis.

SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 in the Bakke Funeral Home Chapel in Larimore, ND.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral service.

INTERMENT: Arvilla Cemetery, Arvilla, ND.
