Daniel Duane Loken passed away March 17, 2017 in Killeen, Texas. He was born January 5, 1954 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Duane and Ila Loken. He attended school in Lompoc, California, graduating in 1972. The Loken family moved to West Covina, California in 1972 where he attended Mt. Sanitonio College for 2 years and worked in dry wall construction. He married Kathy Leone and they had three wonderful boys: Michael, Kevin and Bryon. Dan moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he married Minnie Douglas on February 14, 1998. The couple moved to Juneau, Alaska and lived there until he became ill and then moved to Killeen, Texas.
Dan is survived by his mother: Ila Loken and Ron Carlson, Michigan, ND; his wife Minnie, Killeen; three sons: Michael (Brandy) and their three children Devon, Cora and Derrick of California; Kevin (Tiffany) and sons Conner and Colton of California; and Bryon of Hawaii. Sisters: Carol (Ron) Morris of Arizona and Sheila (Michael) Alvarez of California and brother Mark of Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his father Duane and many uncles and aunts.
FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Quale Lutheran Church near Fordville. Interment will be held in Quale Church Cemetery.
