David Lee

It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of David Sanford Lee, 77, Larimore, ND.  He passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at his home.

David was born to Francis Sanford and Elizabeth (Matheson) Lee on October 21, 1944 at Grand Forks Deaconess Hospital. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his best friend and partner Karen Durkin, three daughters: Stephanie (Mike) Johnson, Laurel Lee and Allison (Walt) Berisko along with their mother Sherry Lee; the adored “Grands”: Samantha (Jason) Dalbey, Brett (Ashley) Johnson, Madison (Aric Berg) Johnson, Jenna (Monty Hendrickson) Johnson, AJ Kyllo, Talia (Dan) Warren, Hannah (Greg) Shepherd and the “Greats”: Blake “Chabinski”, Jace “JW”, Lauren “Gertie”, Riggin “Duke” and Clayton “Sparky”.  He is also survived by siblings Sandra Hendrickson, Mary Godsey, John Lee and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

David was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Janice Lee, brothers-in-law George Hendrickson and Harry Godsey.

FUNERAL SERVICES:  2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Larimore.

VISITATION:  One hour prior to the funeral in the church.

INTERMENT:  Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.
