DONNA LUCHT

Donna Lucht, age 81, of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Inkster, ND, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her home in Grand Forks.

Donna was born August 16, 1932 at Dahlen, ND, the daughter of Elwin and Barbara (Lankas) Fontaine. She moved with her family to the Inkster area at the age of 10. She graduated from Inkster High School in 1950. Donna married Ben Lucht on February 17, 1953 at Crookston, MN. For the first year of their marriage, they lived in California before returning to the Inkster area where they lived and farmed. In their retirement years, they moved to Grand Forks.

Donna was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Inkster.

Surviving members of her family include her husband Ben; children: Mike (Lori) Lucht, Cottage Grove, MN; Don (Julie) Lucht, Enon, OH, Sue (Ken) Knudson, Grand Forks; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister: Joan Tierney, Crookston; and brother: Elwin “Red” Fontaine.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.

FUNERAL SERVICES:   3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church in Inkster.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral in the church Sunday.

INTERMENT: Inkster Cemetery, Inkster.
