Celebration of Life

Doris I. Gilbertson, 79 a resident of Good Samaritan Society of Park River, ND formerly of Conway, ND died Saturday June 7th , 2014 at Altru Hospital Grand Forks, ND.
She was born November 7th 1934 to Lars and Hannah (Nelson) Omdahl in Conway, ND. Doris Attended Conway Public School in Conway. In July 1958 she married Clarence (Archie) Gilbertson in Grafton, ND. She worked at the Conway Store and also was involved with her family in operation of Northland Naturals. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, meeting people and spending time with family and her sisters. She especially enjoyed her time spent with the staff and residents at the Park River Good Samaritan.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, two infant siblings, her husband, brothers Harris, Douglas, Donald and David.
Doris is survived by two daughters Theresa (Joel) Minchinton of Rochester, MN, Debra (Randal) Egstad of Grand Forks, ND, five grandchildren, Matthew Minchinton and Ryan Minchinton of Rochester, MN, Keith Egstad and Jeremy Egstad of Grand Forks, ND and Holly Egstad of Fargo, ND. Brothers Glen Omdahl of Raymond, WA, Lloyd Omdahl of Grand Forks, ND, Dean Omdahl of Valley City, ND, Lawrence Omdahl of Pigeon Creek, TX. Sisters Francis Omdahl of Seattle, WA and Grace Eisner, Conway, ND.
