EUGENE MILLER
Eugene Michael Miller, 67, of Larimore, ND died December 28, 2014 at home, after a long battle with cancer.
Eugene was born December 1, 1947 to Kenneth and Geraldine Miller in rural McCanna. He attended Unity Public School through the 8th grade, then Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN where he graduated in 1965. He continued his education at North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, earning a degree in Welding and Machining in 1967. He returned to his family’s farm near rural McCanna to work with his parents.
On November 28, 1969 Eugene married Betty Lou Olson; they farmed and raised four children. After retiring in 2011, Eugene focused on his garden and spoiling his three grandkids.
He is survived by his children: DeAnna (Dwight) Lane, Glasston; Sheila Miller, Kannapolis, NC; Angela Miller, rural Larimore; and Michael Miller, rural Larimore. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph Miller, Buxton, and three grandchildren: Alexander, Halley, and Gaven.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, his mother and father, and two sisters and brothers.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Elm Grove Lutheran Church, rural McCanna.

VISITATION: Friday, January 2 from 5-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service held in the Bakke Funeral Home of Larimore. Visitation will also be in the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
BURIAL: Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.
