HARRIS TROSEN

Harris Trosen, 74, of Fordville ND passed away suddenly Thursday, May 16, 2013 at his cabin on Maple Lake near Mentor Minnesota.
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Harris was born on August 19th, 1938 at Inkster ND to Kossuth and Mary (Burris) Trosen. Raised to manhood in the Inkster Area, Harris attended Akers Business College after graduation and spent a long career with the Bremer Bank System as the Manager of the Fordville Location. Harris married his soul mate Mary Vernes on November 11th, 1958 and spent the next 55 years of his life dedicated to his wife and four children.
Harris is survived by wife Mary, Sons; Michael Harris (Bobbi) of Miller SD, Jeffrey (Susan) of West Fargo ND, Mark (Lori) of West Fargo ND, Daughter; Cheri Luchsinger of Kansas City, MO, Grandsons; Preston, Alex, Nathan Harris, Granddaughters; Sommer, Marissa, Alyssa, Madeline, Molly, Alexis, Great Granddaughter; MeKaya, Brother; Harold of Lake Park MN, Brother-in-law; Harold “Doc” Skibicki, Grand Forks; and several Nieces and Nephews.
Harris was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 6 sisters.

VISITATION will be Monday May 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Bakke Funeral Home in Fordville ND. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Tuesday.

The FUNERAL will be Tuesday May 21st at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Park River ND with Father Gary Luiten officiating.


INTERMENT will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fordville, ND.
