Helen "Squirt" Goetz

Helen “Squirt” Goetz, 88, of Arvilla, passed away June 29, 2021 at the Bethany Assisted Living Center in Fargo. She was born to the late Delphine (Dumont) and Ralph Boushee, on April 17, 1933 in East Grand Forks, MN.

She married the late Richard “Dick” Goetz in October of 1950. They lived in Arvilla, farmed near Emerado, and raised five children.

Squirt is survived by five children: Rick (Tracy), of Arvilla; Marie (Ken) Zetocha, of West Fargo; Deb Atkinson (Frank), of Big Lake, MN; Ron, of Bend, OR, and John, of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Squirt was predeceased by her husband in 1990 and her son Pat in 1959.

Squirt spent the last decade at Bethany Assisted Living Center in Fargo.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 2 ^nd at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Larimore.  VISITATION will be for one hour prior to the service in the church.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place at Bellevue Cemetery following the funeral.
