Hilda Knudson

Hilda L. Knudson, 93, Of Larimore ND died Thursday August 22, 2019 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks ND. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Larimore. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be held at Zion Cemetery, Leonard, ND.
She resided at Good Samaritan Home in Larimore for 5 years.

Hilda was born in Leonard ND to Harry J. and Dena (Liedahl) Solhjem. On March 8, 1947, she married Ivan Knudson of Larimore ND at Zion Lutheran Church in Leonard.
She was a charter member of Hegton Homemakers club of Larimore. She was active in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, attended Circle, taught Sunday School, and participated in quilting. Hilda loved flower gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Hilda is survived by her children: Linda (Ivan) Opp of West Fargo ND, Wayne (Sandra) Knudson of Larimore ND, Bonnie (Robert) Ptacek of Oakes ND, Vickie (Bruce) Groven of Hope ND, and Sidney (Tracy) Knudson of Larimore ND. Sister, Judith Satrang of Minneapolis MN. Grandchildren: Jennifer (Todd) Pierce, Jeffrey Opp, Lori Knudson, Stacey Ostby, David Knudson, Sara Ptacek, Cody Ptacek, Audrey Passa, Scott Groven, Tanner Knudson, Courtney Knudson, and Case Knudson; Great-grandchildren: Jocelyn, Deegan, Molly, Piper, Gambit, Nolan, Joel, and Claire. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Thelma Farrell.
