John Hillestad, age 85, of Lynden, Washington and formerly of the McCanna, ND, area passed away on October 25, 2016 in Christian Healthcare Center in Lynden.
John was born June 17, 1931 at McCanna, ND, the son of Selmer and Cora (Johnson) Hillestad.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Elm Grove Church Cemetery of rural McCanna. Military honors will be accorded by the Ted Valerius Post 97 of the Larimore American Legion.
