JOSEPH H. HOLWEGER
Joseph H. Holweger, age 67, of Arvilla, ND, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his rural Arvilla home.
Joseph was born October 9, 1944 at Northwood, ND, the son of Joseph and Irene (Molstad) Holweger, Sr. He was raised and grew to manhood near Arvilla. He received his public education at Arvilla schools and Larimore High School. Joseph was a lifelong farmer in the Arvilla area. He also worked civil service at the Grand Forks Air Force Base; American Crystal, Eddy’s Bakery, Baseview Petroleum and Smitty’s Transmission.
Joseph married Sandy Buchanan at Pleasant View Church of rural Emerado on September 27, 1979.
Surviving members of his family include his wife Sandy; daughters: Mary Jo Pietron, Larimore; Abbie Lane (Randy) Paulson, Emerado and Theresa Marie (Tony) McKay, Maricopa, AZ; son: Joe (April) Holweger, III, Larimore; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother: Jerome (Jan) Holweger, Larimore; sisters: Marlene (Howard) Jones, Tallahassee, FL; Joan Schulz, East Grand Forks; several nieces and nephews and his special companion dog “Jake”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, baby daughter: Sherri; brother-in-law: David Schulz and son-in-law: David Pietron.


FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Bakke Funeral Home Chapel in Larimore.


VISITATION: Monday, July 23 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service held in the Bakke Funeral Home. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday.


BAKKE FUNERAL HOME, LARIMORE, ND

Officiating will be Pastor Raenelle Capes. Music selections will be provided by Dolores Mutch as the Organist and Kevin Nelson, Soloist.
