Joseph Waters

With deepest sorrow we announce Joseph (Joey) Preston Waters, age 25, of Larimore, ND passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

Joey was born on August 14, 1996 to Jim and Jeanne (Slagus) Waters at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood, ND.  He attended school in Larimore, ND and completed his education at Community Alternative High School in 2015. An avid online gamer, Joey found friends from all over the world in his online gaming community. Beloved son, brother, uncle, and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.

Joey will be missed every day by his parents, Jim and Jeanne Waters of Larimore; his sister Jessica Brown of Ramsey, MN; his niece and nephew, Aubree and Easton; his cousins Anthony (Sarah) Rivera of Las Vegas, NV; David (Kim) Kaminski of Dickinson, Ted (Michelle) Kaminski of Larimore; Mikki (Matt) Behm of Larimore, Brandi (Jacob) Bailey of Nokomis Beach, FL; Brittany Rivera of Nokomis Beach, FL; and Becca Kaminski of Grand Forks; aunt Marylee (Abel) Rivera of Las Vegas, NV; and great aunt Marty Evans of Lake Paris, CA.

Joey is preceded in death by his grandparents William and Ruth Slagus; Sharon Tuttle; aunt and uncle Robert and Susan Kaminski of Larimore, ND; uncle Timothy Thomas of Las Vegas, NV; and cousin Robbie Kaminski of Grand Forks, ND.

Services are private. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Waters Family.
