Keith Brodie

Keith Brodie, age 55, of Arvilla, ND passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home near Arvilla.

Keith Michael Brodie was born in Detroit MI Sept 7 1962 to Carol and Gordon Brodie. He graduated from high school in Willis MI and went on to work in the restaurant industry until his enlistment in the USAF in 1986. He married Vicki Craig April 4, 1987. Their daughter Candace Nicole was born Aug 2 1989. Keith proudly served in the Air Force as a dietitian then cross training to become a boom operator until his retirement in 2009. He married Kathleen Brodie Sept 7 2004.


Keith had a love of nature and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a hunter safety instructor for many years. He loved people and was well known for his gift of gab and storytelling.


He is survived by his wife Kathy, his parents Carol and Gordon Brodie, Willis MI, Brother Kyle Brodie (Debbie) Saline MI, sister Heather Morgan Willis, MI, daughter Candace Brodie, Marion, Ohio, step children Shannoah May, Las Vegas, Zachary Schadler (Andrea) , Wahpeton ND, Heather (Jake) Walter. Grandchildren Loki Elsasser, Logan May, Jamie May, Bella Walter, Lexi Walter, Elizabeth Schadler, Kari Schadler, Racheal Schadler, Katy Schadler and Abby Schadler, and several neices and nephews.

He is preceded in death by grandparents and brother in law Jay Morgan.

The Family will greet friends on Friday, December 15 from 2-4 p.m. at the Bakke Funeral Home in Larimore, ND.
