Kenneth Anderson

Kenneth J. Anderson, 83 passed away early Sunday morning May 11th 2014 at the Good Samaritan Center in Larimore, North Dakota surrounded by family and friends. Kenneth was born June 6, 1930 in rural McCanna North Dakota, the son of John and Florence Anderson. Ken attended grade school in McCanna North Dakota, and high school in Larimore North Dakota, before attending college at Wahpeton, North Dakota. Kenneth married Marilyn Ward of Larimore, North Dakota on September 23, 1951. They were lifelong members of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Larimore North Dakota. Kenneth farmed until he retired and continued to live on the family farm until moving into the Larimore Good Samaritan Center this past October.
Kenneth is survived by his sister Eve Sneva of Issaquah, Washington sons Thomas of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Dean of Littleton, Colorado grandchildren Tayler Anderson Hoover of Denver Colorado, Kragen Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Chance Weisz, Bismarck North Dakota, John Thomas and Brittany Anderson of Olive Branch Mississippi; daughter-in-law Celia Gust, Eden Prairie, MN and brother-in-law George (Janet) Ward, Byhalia, MS. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilyn, daughter Barbara and son Randy, and daughter-in-law Tammy Anderson. Kenneth will be remembered by friends and family around the world.

Viewing is scheduled for 9 AM on Wednesday May 14th with services beginning at 10 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Larimore North Dakota. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.
