Kenneth Ranisate

Kenneth Larry Ranisate, 55, of Larimore, ND passed away Thursday, May
14, 2020 at Altru hospital in Grand Forks. A private family service was
held on Monday, May 18th, 2020 at Bakke funeral home in Larimore.
Internment will be held on a later date at the Hoople, ND cemetery.

Ken, son of Larry Ranisate and the late Shirley (Bjerke) Ranisate, was
born August 23, 1964, in Cavalier, ND. He attended and graduated Valley
school in Hoople. Shortly after, Ken joined the Army for three years and
then served in the National Guard for another three years. Ken most
recently worked at Steffes Manufacturing at the time of his passing.

Ken met the love of this life, Doreen (Surface) Ranisate, and they were
united in marriage. Ken is survived by his wife, his children Keith
(Shan'te), Kristina, Adrianna, and Kole, his father Larry Ranisate
(Linda), his brother Keith Ranisate, his sister Tammy (Kevin) Lee, along
with four nieces, several grandchildren, and his great friends Randy and
Jess.

Ken was a huge Packers fan and loved cars and pickups. He enjoyed
spending time with family and friends, especially in the garage. Those
who knew him enjoyed his witty sense of humor. Every conversation
started with Ken saying "Hey," and the common phrase he liked to ask was
"Can I tell you one thing?".  He would always say "I love you!" at the
end of every conversation. He will be deeply missed by his family and
friends, who loved him very much. He is at peace in heaven with his mother.

He was preceded in death by his mother (Shirley) and grandparents.

Thank you to all the family and friends that knew and loved Ken for who
he was.
