Arvilla

Linda Juberigan, age 70, Arvilla ND, peacefully passed away on October 27, 2021, from complications of pulmonary fibrosis at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

She was born March 4, 1951, in Forest Lake, Mn., to Chester and Katherine (Moran) Peterson. At 6 months of age, she moved with her parents to Chisago City, MN., where she grew up. She was united in marriage to Gordon Juberigan on July 25, 1970, at St. Bridget’s of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom, MN.  She traveled with her husband in the Air Force where they were stationed at Ellsworth AFB SD, Seymore Johnson AFB NC, Kadena AB Okinawa, Altus AFB OK, and Grand Forks AFB ND.  She worked for the US Government civil service over 31 years, retiring from the 319 Logistics Readiness Squadron in June, 2011.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, daughter Lisa Mumm, Minneapolis, MN, son Brian Juberigan, Kutztown, PA, grandchildren Carlos, Abbie, Shyann, Owen, and Annabelle, her mother-in-law Zana Juberigan, sister in laws Linda Rundell and Jodi Rasmussen, a sister Rita, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, an infant brother, and her beloved aunt and uncle, Leo and Tillie Moran.

Linda’s passion in genealogy led her to extensive relationships in many areas of the world. She discovered living and ancestral relations in Ireland, and was able to make a trip there and meet them. She also helped many people discover their heritage lines also. She enjoyed motorhome travel, glamping, visits to my sister Linda Rundell’s menagerie farm in Minnesota and her Uncle Leo’s farm in Nebraska. Always ready to travel! She was able to visit Europe twice which was a highlight of her passion. She had wonderful friends Janet Clark and Gary Bergstrom in Grand Forks that she loved and had frequent dinners with that Gary cooked.

She was devoted to family and friends and was able to make numerous trips to see the grand children who dispersed to states outside of North Dakota.

There will be a VISITATION on Saturday, November 6 from 3-5 p.m. at Bakke Funeral Home at Box 333 Larimore ND 58251. Memorials may be sent here.

Interment will be in the spring at United Methodist Cemetery in Wyoming, MN.
