Linda Kay Moen

Linda Kay Moen, 73, formerly known as Linda “Cookie” Beard passed away peacefully at her home in Larimore, ND, on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Linda was born in Bismarck, ND on August 30th, 1944, the daughter of Clarence and Edna (Doehle) Beard.    She worked as a secretary at the Bismarck State Penitentiary until she became a stay at home mom.

She had a great sense of humor and an adventurous spirit.   She traveled extensively in her life.   She resided in Fairbanks Alaska for about a year which was her favorite.  She drove the AlCan Highway by herself which was an accomplishment in itself.

She enjoyed traveling, her beloved pets, and spending time with her family especially her husband Rick.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Edna Beard.

She is survived by her husband Rick Moen, Larimore, ND, daughter Cori Letter (Pat), Seymour, WI, granddaughters Amber Skraba, Seymour, WI, Chelsea Johnson, Neenah, WI and two great grandsons Parker and Gavin.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 11:00 am at Bakke Funeral Home Chapel in Larimore, ND.  Rev. Jason Darty will officiate.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
