Linda Wyant

Linda Wyant, age 68, of Larimore, ND, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017, from complications of lung and liver cancer, at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks.

Linda was born April 3, 1948 in Milton, WV, the daughter of Lee Andrew and Mamie (Black) Campbell. She was raised and educated at Milton. She married Bernard Wyant on March 27, 1965. The couple moved to the Grand Forks Air Force Base in 1976 where he was stationed with the Air Force. After his retirement, they moved to Larimore in 1981. Mr. Wyant preceded her in death on January 13, 2015.

Surviving members of her family include her children: Bernard J (Natalie) Wyant, Jr., Hawley, MN; Jamie (Amy) Wyant, Dickinson, ND; Stacy Carpenter, Waldorf, MD; grandchildren: McKayla, Mercedee, McKenze Cooper; Jason Wyant, Cade and Carson Wyant, Lincoln Bernard Carpenter; and sister: Rosemary Wooten.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Van and Jimmy.

VISITATION: 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, in the Bakke Funeral Home of Larimore, ND.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Thursday, February 23 at 12 noon in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at Mandan, ND
