LUCILLE FRANSON
Lucille Franson, age 84, of Larimore, ND, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Larimore Good Samaritan Center.
Lucille was born July 21, 1927, in Brenna Township, rural Grand Forks, the daughter of Martin and Christine (Thompson) Berg. She attended Brenna Township school and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School.
Lucille married Victor Franson in East Grand Forks, MN, on June 13, 1944. The couple lived near Larimore where Lucille worked for Elk Valley Potatoes and the L. B. Hartz Grocery Store. She was employed by Elk Valley Bank in Larimore for 33 years. Mr. Franson preceded her in death on August 20, 1986. Lucille moved to the Larimore Good Samaritan Center in April, 2004.
Surviving members of her family include her daughter: Vicki (Ron) Hunsberger, Larimore; sons: Dennis (Karen) Franson, Buhl, ID; Roger (Mary) Franson, Buhl, ID; and Gene Paupst, Larimore; 9 grandchildren: Deni Lemley, Craig Franson, Brian Franson, Drew Hunsberger, Kelly Franson, Dana Hunsberger, Tracy Franson, Brian Turnavic and David Turnavic; 9 great grandchildren; one sister: Joyce Hendrickson, Vermillion, SD; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 7 sisters: Thelma Solseng, Clara Zeitler, infant sister Gladys; Caroline Bass Lafon, Gladys Berg, Rossella Kennedy and Olive Solseng.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Larimore.

INTERMENT: Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.

VISITATION: Monday, June 11 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service held in the Bakke Funeral Home of Larimore. Visitation will also be for one hour prior to the funeral in the church Tuesday.
