Marilyn Anderson

Marilyn G Anderson, age 82 of Larimore passed away Friday December 27, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center, Larimore, ND.
Marilyn G Anderson was born September 10, 1931 in Park River ND the daughter of George and Marie Ward. Marilyn attended school in Inkster ND until moving to the Larimore area in 1941. She graduated from Larimore High school and the Deaconess School of Nursing. She married Kenneth Anderson of McCanna ND September 23, 1951. They were lifelong members of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. The couple lived on the family farm in the McCanna area until moving into the Good Samaritan this fall. Marilyn worked as a RN and retired from the Grand Forks Rehabilitation Hospital in 2001. Marilyn also volunteered at home health care after retirement.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Kenneth and sons: Tom of Olive Branch, MS and Dean of Littleton CO. Grandchildren: Tayler Anderson of Denver CO. Kragen Anderson of Minneapolis, MN, Chance Weisz, Bismarck ND and John and Brittany Anderson of Olive Branch MS and her brother George (Janet) Ward, Jr., Byhalia, MS.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia, infant brother Norman, infant daughter Barbara, son Randy and daughter-in-law Tammy Anderson.
Marilyn will be remembered as the loving caregiver she was.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Larimore.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral in the church.

INTERMENT: Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore.
