Mary Kavli

Mary Kavli, age 74, of Dahlen, ND, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.

Mary was born to Herbert and Edna Dahlen on December 17, 1949.  On May 2, 1969, she married Richard Kavli.

After spending many years, spending time on her new family, she finally graduated from Moorhead State University in 1990 with a degree in accounting.

She was always crafting of some sort. Whether it was needle working, macramé, sewing clothing for her children, or in later years quilting many a quilt for people.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, brother James, and sister Barbara.

She is survived by husband Richard, sisters, Janet Stock, Joanne (Ron) Kavli, Susan (John) Lapsitis, and brother Randy (Peggy) Dahlen, three daughters, Tammy (James) Wilds, Kathryn Merry (Lance Nielsen), and Alicia (Nathan) Grams, and many grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the Dahlen Lutheran Church, Dahlen, ND.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Middle Forest River Cemetery, rural Dahlen.
