Melvin Verkuehlen

Melvin D. Verkuehlen age 76 of Larimore, ND passed away on June 21 ^st , 2022.  He was born January 10 ^th , 1946 in Northwood, ND the son of Harvey and Francis (Swavee) Verkuehlen.  He graduated from Petersburg, ND High School in 1963.

Melvin farmed near Niagara until 1986 and then worked as head of maintenance at Larimore Public School until retirement.

He married Mary Hofer in 1967 and raised their 3 children, Patricia, Daniel and Brian.

Melvin is survived by, daughter Patricia (John Miller); son Daniel (Ember); son Brian (Jami); grandchildren Reed, Jaci, Jali, Jade and Bryce;  siblings Lorraine, Elaine (Jeff), Debby (Denny), Max (Doug), Annette (Tim), Tyrone (Jennifer) and many nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his parents.

FUNERAL SERVICES:  11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Elm Grove Lutheran Church rural McCanna, ND.

VISITATION:  One hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT:  Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore, ND
