Phyllis Behm

Phyllis Behm, Niagara, ND, passed away at the age of 81 at the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, ND, on Saturday, November 22, 2014. She was born October 6, 1933, the daughter of Nellie and Edwin Surface, and grew up in Niagara. She married Arthur Behm on April 1, 1953. They lived on the family farm north of Niagara their entire lives.
Phyllis was an active member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, the St. Andrews’ Ladies Aid, and the LWML. Phyllis was a wonderful cake decorator and kept very busy making beautiful cakes and loved decorating them.
She is survived by her three children, Gary (Deb) Behm, Niagara; Randy Behm, Grand Forks and Brenda (Curt) Holmstrom, Arthur; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur, and her daughter, Audrey Raney, and son-in-law, Charles Raney.

Visitation: Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 at Bakke Funeral Home, Larimore, ND.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, November 26, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrews Lutheran Church at Niagara.

Interment: St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery, Niagara.
