Robert "Robbie" Kaminski, Jr.

Robert (Robbie) Alan Kaminski Jr, age 31, of Larimore, ND went to be with the Lord unexpectedly due to natural causes on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

Robbie was born on November 1, 1989 to Robert and Susan (Slagus) Kaminski at United Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.  He attended school in Larimore, ND and graduated from Larimore High School in 2008.  After high school, Robbie found his calling being selfless and compassionate, helping care for others.  Robbie worked as a CNA, and most recently as a Direct Support Professional at Developmental Homes in Grand Forks.  Robbie worked with kids that have developmental disabilities.  He loved caring for others.  When Robbie wasn't working, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, hanging out with friends, or watching his nephews Tansyn and Nolan. He had a contagious laugh, could tell you jokes upon jokes, and was always good for an extravagant story.  Robbie was the light and laughter to everyone he surrounded himself with.  He loved his family and friends dearly.

Robbie is survived by his brothers, David (Kim) Kaminski of Dickinson, Ted (Michelle) Kaminski of Larimore; his sisters Mikki (Matt) Behm of Larimore, and Becca Kaminski of Grand Forks; his nieces and nephews Alexandra, Tenley, Tansyn, Nolan, Hunter, Brooks, and Brynn; his aunt Jeanne (Jim) Waters of Larimore; cousins Jessica Brown of Ramsey, MN and Joseph Waters of Larimore, and stepmother Toni Kaminski of Larimore.

Robbie is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Susan Kaminski of Larimore, ND; grandparents Ted and Margaret Kaminski, and William and Ruth Slagus.

Robbie's wishes were to not mourn his death, but to celebrate his life.  There will be a prayer service with Rev. George Lautner officiating on Friday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. at Bakke Funeral Home in Larimore.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 6 p.m. at Good Friends Bar and Cafe in Larimore.
