Robert Leen

Robert Leen, age 83, of Larimore, ND, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Deaconess Health Center in Northwood, ND.

Robert was born April 27, 1936 near Niagara, ND, the son of Rudolph and Myrtle (Paulson) Leen.  He was raised and grew to manhood in the Niagara area, where he also received his public education

Robert married Ardyce Krueger on November 3, 1957 in St. Andrew Lutheran Church of Niagara.  Following their marriage, the couple lived and farmed near Niagara.  Mrs. Leen preceded him in death on June 6, 2010.  He moved into Larimore in 2011.

Surviving members of his family include sons:  Bob Leen, Larimore; David Leen, Northwood,

grandsons:  Thomas (Tia) Leen, Terry Leen, Calvin Leen all of Northwood and Alex Leen, Fargo; great-granddaughter Riley; sisters:  Irene (Jim) Mork, Grand Forks; Marian (Gordon) Peterson, Larimore, Gladyce (Rodney) Peterson, Northwood and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Dennis Leen, grandson Dustin Leen, sister Donna and brother Leonard.

FUNERAL SERVICES:  10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at Bethel Lutheran Church of rural Larimore.

VISITATION: Monday, July 1 from 5-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service held in the Bakke Funeral Home of Larimore.  Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Tuesday.

INTERMENT:   Bethel Church Cemetery.
