Rosemary Ann Larson

Rosemary Ann Larson (64) passed away at 11:19 PM on Tuesday, December 20th, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 6th, 1952 to Frank and Eugena (Houska) Foerster of Conway, ND. She attended school in Conway to grade 6 and graduated from Fordville High School in 1970. She married Lynn Larson in Conway on November 21st, 1970. She worked as secretary/bookkeeper/receptionist for various firms in the Grafton area. She also worked as a Behavior Modification Programmer at the Developmental School in Grafton. The family moved to Minot, ND from Grafton in 1981. Rosemary started working for Federal Express in 1984 as a Customer Service Agent, later as Manager of the Minot Station before relocating to the Grand Forks Station as a FedEx courier. She retired from FedEx after 23 years.

In addition to being a phenomenal wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, Rosemary enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, music, sketching, sculpting and sewing, as well as every minute she had with family and friends. Her generous smile will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, her son, Travis (Tammy) of Drayton, and daughter Mandy Hagen (Ross) of Fordville. Six grandchildren Nicole Oberg, Grand Forks, Grace Oberg and Joseph Larson of Drayton, Sam, Emma and Ruby Hagen of Fordville. Four sisters, Yvonne Linstad of Fordville, Mardy (Wayne) Thorvilson of Gilby, Ardy (Jim) Rostvet of Ramona, CA, Candy (Ken) Henry of East Grand Forks, MN and sister-in-law, Lois Foerster of Warren, MN.


Preceding her in death were her parents, grandson, Dylan David Larson, seven brothers; Fritz, William Donald, Gene, Melvin, Donald, Baby Darling, and infant brother, sister Audrey Lee and brother-in-law, Harry Linstad.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at St. John’s Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pisek, ND.

VISITATION: Tuesday, December 27 from 5-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service held in the Bakke Funeral Home of Fordville, ND. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the service in the church on Wednesday.
