SHARON “BABE” GUDMUNDSON

Sharon “Babe” Gudmundson, 69, of Petersburg, ND, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
Sharon was born January 22, 1946 at Grand Forks, the daughter of Antone “Tony” and Lillian (Peterson) Thompson. She was raised in Grand Forks and as a young girl moved with her family to East Grand Forks, where she attended school.
Babe married Donald “Don” Gudmundson on October 18, 1963 in East Grand Forks. They lived in Grand Forks until moving to Coon Rapids, MN where she worked for 3M. In 2004 the couple moved to Petersburg.
She will be greatly missed by her family who dearly loved her.
Surviving members of her family include her husband: Don; 2 daughters: Marci Olson and Jodi Richardson; 2 grandchildren: Nicole Jones and Dylan Jones; brother: Wallace Thompson; and 3 sisters: Marlene Bemderfer, JoAn Bare and Ardyce Swanson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bud, Ronnie and Keith and sister: Connie.
