Susan Mcdonald

Susan Geraldine McDonald, 61, of Ossian, Iowa and formerly of Arvilla, ND died Sunday, March 29, 2020.  Susan was born May 25, 1958 to Virlyn and Olga (Rystad) McDonald in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She graduated from Larimore High School in 1976,

Susan was a CNA at the Wellington Place in Decorah, Iowa from 1999 to 2010 and loved working there. She had two dogs , Yeti and Brinley , that she adored.

Susan is survived by her four children, Holly (Walter) Witt of Ossian, Iowa, Jason Johnson of Cresco, Iowa, Whitney (Rashone) Lowery of Cresco, Iowa and Wyatt (Sierra) Opperman of Ellsworth, Iowa; five granddaughters, Ava, Amber, Nevaeh, Ra’Niyah and Rory; and four siblings, John (Valerie) McDonald of Larimore, North Dakota, Mary (Robert) Boushee of Emerado, North Dakota, Darryl (Cindy) McDonald of Larimore, North Dakota and Mark McDonald of Fargo, North Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virlyn and Olga McDonald.

***A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 in Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore, ND.
