Grand Forks
Wayne Paupst, age 80, of Grand Forks, and formerly of Emerado, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Valley Senior Living – Woodside Village in Grand Forks.
Wayne was born September 30, 1941 in Grand Forks, the son of Ronald and Betty Jo (Amsler) Paupst. He was raised and grew to manhood in the Emerado area. He attended and graduated from the Crookston, MN Agricultural School. Wayne then attended Wahpeton State School of Science, after which he returned to farm in the Emerado area. Wayne was later employed by Carl Hoverson Farms for many years until his retirement.
A single man, he is survived by his brother Larry (Jeanne) Paupst, Emerado; brother-in-law Marvin Granger, Emerado; nephews Rick (Dawnette) Rey, Fargo; Ron (Janel) Paupst, Emerado and niece Tuesday (Mark) Pierce, Arvilla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sandra Granger.
Interment will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.
