Wynn Nusviken

Wynn Nusviken, age 72, of Larimore, ND passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Wynn was born November 27, 1943 in Grand Forks, the son of Wilbur and Lillie (Miller) Nusviken. He was raised and grew to manhood in the rural McCanna area. He attended schools at McCanna and Niagara, then attended and graduated from Petersburg High School. Wynn attended the ND Agriculture College in Fargo. He returned to the McCanna area where he farmed all his life. Wynn married Marilynn Haugen at Leonard, ND, on June 25, 1967.

He was happy to be a Norwegian, and proud to be a Swede.

A single man, he is survived by his mother Lillie Nusviken, Grand Forks; son Wayne (Janel) Nusviken, Larimore; daughter Tammy (Jon) Bye, Horace, ND; grandchildren Jenna and Amelia Nusviken and Thomas Bye, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Elk Valley Lutheran Church, rural McCanna.

VISITATION: Friday, July 15 from 6-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service held in the Bakke Funeral Home of Larimore. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Saturday.

INTERMENT: Elm Grove Church Cemetery, rural McCanna.
