About Our Funeral Home and Our Commitment to You
With the encouragement of family, friends, and the area community, the Bakke Funeral Home was established in Larimore by David K. Bakke in 1977. In 1984, David and Melissa Bakke purchased the Casement Funeral Home in Fordville from Donald and Georgine Casement. The Casement Funeral Home was established in 1914 by Hulbert Casement. In 1957, Donald joined his father, Hulbert. They have continued to serve the area communities in the same traditions that have long been established. David and Melissa appreciate the confidence and trust that have been placed in them by many families. David and Melissa have rededicated the purpose of the funeral homes in memory of their son, Andrew Bakke, who passed away on Jan. 30, 2011, at the age of 18 years.
